Carlee Lewis has worked as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist for 12 years at predominantly bilingual elementary schools San Diego, California.

She is a founding member of San Diego Unified School District Language and Literacy Support Team. The team is dedicated to developing methodology, research- and evidence-based resources, and professional development in the areas of language and literacy assessment and intervention for speech-language pathologists and educators.

With her colleagues, she has created over two hundred lesson plans and a video library that showcases the impact of effective instructional practices on students' academic language. 

In addition, Carlee has presented workshops for school districts and universities across the United States, specializing in developing collaborative academic conversations, intervention and assessment.

She currently is. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Plovdiv, Bulgaria working with almost 500 high school students.

She is eager to be a part of this project and ready to serve! Carlee enjoys running, hiking, and simply being outside soaking up the sunshine!
