My name is Courtney Haubert and I am thrilled to be joining you all this year in Devin!

I am a US Fulbright English Teaching Assistant placed in Gabrovo, and I am originally from California.

In May 2022, I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and psychology, and I plan to complete my Master of Theological Studies degree in 2025.

My main academic interests are philosophy of religion, contemporary continental philosophy, and civic interfaith cooperation and diplomacy. My long-term ambition is to complete a PhD and teach at a university.

Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, reading, cooking, and spending time with my friends, family, and cat. Travel is another passion of mine; I enjoy meeting people from around the world and experiencing new cultures.

I love my life here in Bulgaria, and I am very grateful for the kindness, hospitality, and generosity I have received from my friends here in Bulgaria.
